Jennifer Estep’s NICE GUYS BITE book blast!
Book info:
Title: NICE GUYS BITE (Elemental Assassin #15.5)
Format: e-novella
Author: Jennifer Estep
NICE GUYS BITE takes place after the events of UNRAVELED (#15). It is told from the point of view of Silvio Sanchez, Gin’s personal assistant.
Working for Gin Blanco (aka the Spider, the assassin who runs the Ashland underworld) doesn’t leave much time for romance, especially with Gin’s holiday party planning in full swing. But when he catches the eye of a charming gentleman, Silvio finds himself going out for coffee.
All’s fair in love and war, though. Just as Silvio is starting to enjoy himself, he realizes he’s being watched. His nice-guy date doesn’t sense the danger, and Silvio wants to keep it that way (and, well, keep the guy alive) so Silvio ends the date early—only to be abducted by some villainous giants.
Will Silvio survive the night and make it back to the Pork Pit in time for Gin’s holiday party? Only if he decks the hall with bodies …

I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for an honest review.
Dark Protector (A Werewolf Romance) (Moon Shifter Series Book 6) is a great addition to this series. The characters and story line are very well-developed. When vampires go missing, Aldric, (a shifter) must find them to avert a possible war with the shifters and vampires. Aldric didn’t want to get involved with Natalia even though they are mates, he does not want to lose someone again like his last mate. The more that they are together on this case, he knows he cannot stay away. I loved this book and series! I cannot get enough of this series. If you have not read this series, I recommend that you do so. I give DARK PROTECTOR 5/5 STARS.

Her eyelids fluttered. Opened.
“How are you feeling?” That question was more appropriate than interrogating her on how she came into possession of a human eyeball. He’d wait until she was fully conscious before tripping down that trail.
“Cold. So cold.” Goose bumps pimpled over her bare skin. She scooted toward where he sat on the edge of the bed, wrapping herself around his hips, seeking his body’s warmth.
He should get the heavy sleeping bag from the closet. He should cover her with it and leave the room. He should, he should, he should. He didn’t. He pulled off his boots and eased into the bed. She latched onto him before he fully reclined.
She molded herself to him. His shoulder her pillow, her arm around his middle, one of her legs draped over his thighs, her knee just a few miniscule inches from his groin. Everything vanished, except the vivid sensation of her feminine curves burrowing into him, seeking his safety, his comfort, his warmth. She was cool where he was on fire. She was soft where he couldn’t bend. She was sweet where he felt bitter.
She fit into his arms, against his body, and into his soul like she was designed especially for him. He wanted to believe he could have a happy ending with her, but his reality was a cruel, hard place where good things just didn’t happen. Or if they did, they never lasted.

REVIEW – LEGAL WOLF’S MATE
In Eve Langlais’s Legal Wolf’s Mate—previously published in the anthology Growl— taking on a pro bono murder case isn’t a problem for a lawyer who enjoys a challenge. Discovering his new client is his mate? A tad more complicated. Gavin has no intention of settling down, especially not with a woman accused of murder. But the beautiful, fiery Megan has his blood boiling and his heart racing, and it doesn’t take Gavin long to know that his fate is sealed…
I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for an honest review.
Legal Wolf’s Mate is a masterpiece of work! The characters and story line are well-developed. If you are looking for quick read! Look no farther. It will have you chuckling in no time. The characters and story line are well-developed, with a great cast of characters. Megan has been accused of killing her boss and has gone to Gavin’s law firm for help. When Gavin meets Megan he immediately knows that she is his mate. Now he has to help her at all cost. When she goes home and finds out that her house has been ransacked, she goes to Gavin to help her. That was a great idea, for later there is a body found in her house. With Megan staying with Gavin all night helps to clear her of the murder of the person in her home. I love Eve Langlais! Her books are wonderful! I loved this book and series. I give LEGAL WOLF’S MATE 5/5 stars.
