blade bound cover
The thrilling final installment of Chloe Neill’s New York Times bestselling urban fantasy series sees sinister sorcery advancing across Chicago, and it might usher in the fall of Cadogan House….

Since the night of her brutal attack and unwilling transformation into a vampire, Merit has stood as Sentinel and protector of Chicago’s Cadogan House. She’s saved the Windy City from the forces of darkness time and again with her liege and lover, Ethan Sullivan, by her side.

When the House is infiltrated and Merit is attacked by a vampire who seems to be under the sway of dark magic, Merit and Ethan realize the danger is closer than they could have imagined. As malign sorcery spreads throughout the city, Merit must go to war against supernatural powers beyond her comprehension. It is her last chance to save everything—and everyone—she loves.

Blade Bound (Chicagoland Vampires) is an Awesome addition to this series!! The characters and story line are well-developed.  Merit and Ethan are preparing for the wedding, when a threat in the form of sorcery attacks the house. Now they have to and eliminate this threat before the wedding takes place. Sorcha Reed is back and terrorizing Chicago. It is so bad that the humans of Chicago are wanting to give up Merit and Ethan. The Fey, Werewolves and the Vamps are all getting together to get rid of the sorceress. This book tied everything up in a nice neat little bow. This was such a great book to read and I recommend it to everyone. I give BLADE BOUND 5/5 STARS.

Craving a gritty, kickass heroine? If you like guns, magic, & heartbreaking drama, you NEED this book!
Orphaned. Hunted. Pissed as hell.
Helena Martin doesn’t know who she hates more, the sorcerers who fired the magic-laced bullet or the gang-lord master who used her mother as a shield. It’s not the price she expected for escaping magical slavery, nor is the unstable power now pulsing in her veins.
Caught between her former master’s hunters and the Guild Sorcerers determined to kill them, she finds a safe haven at a dog rescue willing to take in a different kind of stray. But Helena’s newly-unleashed power is a beacon for her enemies. And they’re threatening the first place she’s ever thought of as home.

SNARED- BLOG TOUR

Excerpt:

Sure enough, Damian Rivera had come home early from his charity dinner. He looked the same as in all the glamour shots on the fireplace mantel—black hair, perfect teeth, trim figure poured into an expensive gray suit. The only things that the airbrushed photos didn’t show were the red flush that stained his bronze cheeks and his slow, exaggerated movements. Someone had already had a few too many.

And he was intent on having even more. Rivera tossed back his Scotch and poured himself another, filling his glass almost to the top, like he was dying of thirst. He took another healthy swallow, draining half of the Scotch, before turning and gesturing at someone.

“Well, don’t just stand out there,” he said, his voice a deep, suave purr. “Come in and have a drink.”

A long-suffering sigh sounded, and another man stepped into my line of sight. With his black hair and expensive suit, he could have been an older, fifty-something clone of Damian Rivera, if not for the black goatee that clung to his chin and the displeased pucker of his lips. And unlike Rivera’s sloppy state, this man’s black eyes were sharp and clear and fixed in a cold, flat stare that I knew all too well.

Hugh Tucker, the Circle’s number one vampire enforcer and my nemesis.

About SNARED:
If you don’t know Gin “the Spider” Blanco, you don’t know dangerous female heroines.

Irony 101—The Spider herself snared in someone else’s web…

Another week, another few clues trickling in about the Circle, the mysterious group that supposedly runs the city’s underworld. Gathering intel on my hidden enemies is a painstaking process, but a more immediate mystery has popped up on my radar: a missing girl.

My search for the girl begins on the mean streets of Ashland, but with all the killers and crooks in this city, I’m not holding out much hope that she’s still alive.

A series of clues leads me down an increasingly dark, dangerous path, and I realize that the missing girl is really just the first thread in this web of evil. As an assassin, I’m used to facing down the worst of the worst, but nothing prepares me for this new, terrifying enemy—one who strikes from the shadows and is determined to make me the next victim.

REVIEW

I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for an honest review.

Unraveled (Elemental Assassin) is an awesome addition to the series! The characters are continually growing. With each book we get more of a look at Gin’s past and how it has made her into the person she is today. When a mob boss comes to Gin to help find her sister who has went missing, brings her to the people who were behind her mothers death. Some of Gin’s questions will be answered, but she will end up with more questions. I love Jennifer Estep’s writing style! I am never disappointed with a book by Jennifer Estep.  I recommend this book and series to everyone. I give SNARED 5/5 STARS.

COLD REIGN – BLOG TOUR

cold reign banner

Character Profile: Adelaide
Adelaide Mooney starts out as Shaddock’s heir’s (Dacy Mooney) blood-servant and daughter in life. She looks late twenties but is in her early 80’s. If she wants to keep her youth, it would be wise to be turned in the next decade.

She is taller than Jane with blue eyes that tint toward a delicate shade of lavender or cornflower blue. She wears perfect makeup and has flawless skin. She has an innate elegance and wears her blonde hair in a French twist, and her designer clothing tailored. Her hands are soft and delicate, fingers long and slender but powerful. She smells like Lincoln Shaddock’s blood, expensive perfume, money, and entitlement.

Adelaide is now Leo’s new primo.

Compiled by Melissa M. Gilbert of Clicking Keys, for the Character History of the Jane Yellowrock world

REVIEW

I was given a copy of this book by Netgalley for an honest review.
Cold Reign (Jane Yellowrock) is an example of Faith Hunter’s writing at her best. While Jane and the rest of her crew are getting everything ready for the European Delegation to show up, When someone starts raising revenants, but these are not your ordinary revenants. They are harder to kill. So who is raising them and why? Jane will be kept very busy in solving these questions and more. I love this series and the complexity of the characters. They are always evolving. My favorite character is Beast. You will not be disappointed with this book. I urge you to get it and the rest of the series if you have not read any of them. I give COLD REIGN 5/5 STARS.

About Faith Hunter:
New York Times Bestselling author Faith Hunter writes three series: the Jane Yellowrock series, dark urban fantasy novels featuring Jane, a Cherokee Skinwalker; the Rogue Mage novels, a dark, urban fantasy / post apocalyptic series and role playing game featuring Thorn St. Croix; and the Soulwood Series featuring Nell Nicholson Ingram.
