While aging is a natural process that everyone experiences, understanding the factors that contribute to aging can help researchers develop strategies to promote healthy aging and potentially extend lifespan. We’re going to examine and discuss these factors in layman’s terms (since I’m not a scientist or a doctor) in greater and hopefully easy to understand detail in the pages to follow.
FUN FACT: The villain of our story is a vile, crusty curmudgeon called “Father Time”. As I’m sure you are fully aware, Father Time isn’t our friend. He’s a bully who loved to torment me until I learned how to put him in a headlock and reinvent myself into a guy who could fight back.
