James Stonewoll is an Elite Assassin for the Under Realm Syndicate—an expert hunter and merciless killer. As a former pirate, he thrives on danger, the more perilous the mission, the better and he can’t resist his newest contract: eliminate a rebel shape-shifting magic thief that stalks the border of the Under Realm kidnapping and murdering innocent Others. But never did the centuries old vampire anticipate playing hero to a mythical temptress with luscious curves, tantalizing lips, and hypnotic eyes.
Captured and held prisoner, Katya Moro was trapped in a seemingly endless loop of unimaginable agony as her magic was slowly being torn from her soul. A gasp away from death, she is rescued by a sinful kiss and awakens in the strong arms of a powerful warrior whose roguish smile, sharp fangs, and intense strength unlock dormant instincts within her, an all-consuming madness that demands complete surrender.
Gazing down at her, James knew he had to kill her. Dark Magic Wielders, like the beautiful female he’d found, were a grave threat to human society and were not permitted to roam the mortal world. But Katya’s smoky voice and sweet kisses stir a fierce hunger inside him. She is unpredictable, uncontrollable and wickedly seductive—his perfect kind of dangerous. To keep her safe, James will protect her from the magic thieves that hunt her and his fellow assassins until he can find a way to return Katya to her home in the Under Realm.
Can Katya’s passion conquer the darkness within his soul?

Excerpt

Magic swirled around her, an ethereal silver tornado. Summoning more power than she ever had before she whispered a gentle command, brought her hands to her lips, and blew the golden glow burning her palms. Light struck the enthralled shifters. Not a single cry of pain fell as they all collapsed to the ground, paralyzed until she voiced the word to release them.

“Impressive.”

Katya spun around to find a man with dark eyes and an even darker aura. Malice cloaked him.

Incubus. She’d sensed another dark magic wielder within the camp, but she’d foolishly assumed they’d been another unfortunate soul captured by the shifters. This man was no prisoner and, unlike his companions, his hygiene was impeccable, he hadn’t been in camp long. He wore jungle fatigues like the guards and a short sword at his waist.

“I can’t decide if your decision to return for revenge is brave or a sign of stupidity.” He shrugged. “I don’t suppose it matters, as long as I’m able to harvest your magic.”

“I’m not here for revenge, but you’re right. The reason doesn’t matter.”

“Courage. I like that. Wish you had a little more of it when we were together. Maybe your magic wouldn’t have been so weak.”

Together?

“You mustn’t recognize me.” He waved a hand over his face and deep shadows fell over his features. When they burned away, his appearance had changed. His tanned skin shimmered and the angles of his face grew sharper, more pleasing. The tips of his ears pointed. His eyes became an electric green that sparkled with kindness. His lips twitched with a playful smile. “How about now, Kat?”

Dear Lady, no. “Dayson.”

“I’m touched you remember.” The glamor faded and his true visage returned. His smile made bile rise in her throat. Hate turned her blood to acid in her veins and sharpened her vision.

GSR Blitz – The Three Crowns Series

author photoI grew up in Southeast Missouri; home
of the Throwed Rolls, high cotton, and the St. Louis Cardinals. I have a little
family consisting of son, daughter, son-in-law and a little Pi. Other than my
children (and grandchild), my passion is writing. My current project is The
Three Crowns Series. Sweet Tea is the first book in this seven-novel series
which published October 15, 2013.
Besides reading and writing, I enjoy singing. I love music period. Music is in
our family. Whether it be the bluegrass from the Ozarks that my Grandpa Sutton
use to play on his banjo or fiddle, or the smooth, family harmony in which I am
fortunate enough to sing with my Dad and Brother. But you can give me some
kickin’ AC/DC too! I like it all!I work full-time as an Administrative Assistant. Every free moment is dedicated
to my family and my current project, The Three Crowns, a seven-novel paranormal
romance series.

It all starts with a Queen and a Plan.

The Three Crowns is a New
Adult/Paranormal Romance series. There are seven books to complete the series,
with a novella. This series has your modern day vampires dealing with the Old
World Laws creating a struggle for ultimate power in the Night World.
THE THREE CROWNS SERIES SYNOPSISThe Three Crowns series is about a normal girl whose life is more than what she will allow herself to imagine. It is the journey of her accepting that
everything is not black and white, and our logic of what we understand does not mean something does exist. Throughout the story she is protected, loved,
groomed and pushed to her limits to prepare her for what lies ahead of her. She is tested in all areas of her humanity which will someday bring her to know the person she is destined to be. The human nature of love is a tangled web of emotions for she feels the love of two men who are continually being taken away from her for the sake of their positions in the future as well.

Snippet:
I
looked back in the large room. Two major battles were taking place. I knew they
both would be to the death. The warriors were like beautiful gods fighting
demons from hell! Yet, they were all, the same. Their bodies were all
well-defined, and their powers were like nothing I could imagine. They each
fought with the force of what seemed like a hundred men. They weren’t human.
The inhuman strength was not the only sign. Their eyes burned red and silver
through the smoke, like laser beams in the fog of smoke. Their eyes were all I
could see of their faces. And that was enough. That is what defined them. That
is how I knew the good from the bad. And in those few moments that I stood
watching the mêlée, a realization washed over me.
This
battle was over humanity.
This
battle was over light vs. darkness.

This
battle was over…me.

There was only ever meant to be one Creator.
In 1972, German scientist Renner Scholz travels to Barbora Bay, Washington where he meets the love of his life, Milena Nowak. Only believing in things proven by science, he becomes obsessed with determining the underlying genetic basis of Milena’s psychic gift.
Stumbling upon an occult ritual, Renner is connected to the spiritual realm where he discovers an unrivaled power that fuels supernatural abilities. But, the answers he’s been searching for come at a cost—his soul.
Driven by new darkness that resides within him, Renner has a breakthrough in his research—able to genetically produce psychic abilities in humans. Milena helplessly watches as her husband becomes deceptive, volatile and both physically and mentally more powerful. Can Milena save Renner from this evil presence? Or will she become an unwilling participant in his next experiment—one of the darkest kinds?

Excerpt:

The sky was overcast, sombre and bleak. The wind was still, the air heavy and muggy. A large mass of students, faculty, friends and acquaintances in black attire were assembled at Pinewood Hill cemetery. A fresh rectangular gap in the earth awaited the body of Renner’s professor, his thesis adviser, and friend.

The priest zealously prayed over Professor Shubally’s spiritless body, about life after death and other nonsense Renner didn’t believe in. Milena stood by his side, their arms entwined. She hadn’t met the professor, but that didn’t stop her from sniffling into a tissue at regular intervals.

The funeral had been postponed until now—a distant relative was to fly in from Ireland for the funeral but at the last minute cancelled due to lack of finances for the trip. The postponement meant Renner could pay his final respects to Dr. Shubally.

The priest’s voice rose, his sermon increasingly passionate in delivery, but Renner’s attention was pulled elsewhere, his neck prickling, followed by the familiar feeling of being watched. Stronger this time.

Renner.

The word, his name, echoed so loudly that he thought the other mourners could hear the voice too. But, not one person reacted. All eyes remained focused mainly on the priest or looking down at their laps in reverence. All except for Paul. His ex-roommate was openly glaring at Renner, Wendy sullen at his side. When Paul noticed Renner looking back at him, he gave a military salute, a nod of the head, and then looked away.

Was Paul the one he felt watching him? The uncomfortable feeling lingered even after Paul looked away. Why did this keep happening to him?

Renner, come.

Was he losing his mind? Milena must have sensed his discomfort, squeezing his arm reassuringly.

After the beautiful, mahogany casket was lowered underground and covered in dirt, the crowd dispersed. Milena went home, while Renner joined other students at a reception in the university cafeteria, where he sat quietly, sipping a hot cup of chamomile tea with honey. As soon as the reception concluded, he strode over to the faculty director’s office to inquire about Professor Shubally’s personal effects. Were they still in his house or had they been packed up and placed in storage? His entire thesis, data, and research had been left behind with the professor. In order to continue his thesis, which he wanted to do immediately, he required his materials.

He also needed to check in on his rats, see how they fared while he was away, especially because the professor obviously hadn’t been tending to them as planned.

The faculty adviser contacted the biology department where Dr. Branson, Dr. Shubally’s closest friend, worked. He had a spare key to the professor’s home and had been the unlucky one to find the professor after he died. Following a brief explanation of Renner’s predicament, Dr. Branson promised he would let Renner in to grab his thesis paper and research.

He arrived at the professor’s home first, pacing back and forth through the unkempt lawn. Dr. Branson appeared shortly after Renner, his large swell of red hair marching up the street difficult to miss. With faces grave, they exchanged greetings, and condolences, and then the doctor unlocked the front door. They were immediately assaulted by the stench of spoiled meat. Renner wondered how long Dr. Shubally’s body had lain unnoticed before being discovered by Dr. Branson.

“Thank you for meeting me here. I know this must be difficult for you.” Renner patted the professor on the back.

“Yes, the past two weeks have been tough. He was such a wonderful man. So, you said he had your thesis materials here?”

Renner nodded.

“Let me help you look.”

Inch by inch they scoured the home, combing through all of the professor’s belongings, even digging through the foul-smelling garbage cans.

No research, no thesis, no data was found. Renner felt the first glimmer of panic.

“Are you sure there weren’t any items removed from the premises? Anything put into storage, perhaps?”

“As far as I know, nobody’s been to the place since I found him, besides the paramedics,” the doctor replied.

The panic swelled. Without his research, his project was doomed. He would have to start from scratch, but he didn’t have that sort of time. Why hadn’t he made a backup set of research documents?

“If you do find anything has been removed, can you contact me immediately?”

The man nodded. Renner wrote down Milena’s phone number on a slip of paper and handed the slip over to the doctor.

“Thank you for your help.”

Renner left, his hopes deflated. Next stop was the lab. Was there a chance that before the professor died he left the research there, maybe with the secretary, to await Renner’s return? A long shot but worth checking out.

He entered the long, familiar halls of the lab building. Making his way into the office at the far end of the hallway he approa

EXCERPT:

His other hand closed around her waist and Arlen pulled her in, crushing her against his hard, male body. Her fingers clenched around the weapon she still held in her free hand, and in a flash of pure instinct, Ava raised the scalpel, the blade coming to rest just under his chin. Eyes as pale as the moonlight stared at her without a single trace of fear as the blade moved in tandem with his pulse.

“Let me go.” Her voice wasn’t trembling anymore.

“Or what, Ava?” Arlen pushed his head forward and down and the blade broke his skin, a trickle of blood dripping down his neck and into the open collar of his vest. “You will kill me? Slit my throat in cold blood?”

Ava let out a shaky breath, her hand pulling slightly away from his jugular. Still, his face lowered, his eyes set on her like a predator, ignoring her threat.

His lips landed on hers above the blade; imperious and hard. He kissed her like it was a command, demanding absolute submission.

And she responded. Her body weakened, her fingers opening and the scalpel falling to the grass at her feet. Her lips parted under his and his tongue entered her mouth. His taste was male and clean, and he took possession of her mouth completely as her mind went blank. Her knees buckled, but his hold on her was firm and he held her there against him.

She could barely breathe as his fingers dug into her flesh, descending to grab her ass. He pulled her against him as a hardness all too male dug into her stomach.

Fear mixed with her arousal, then the hand that had held the blade went to his chest and she pushed against him.

Arlen growled into her mouth, refusing to heed her plea to stop. As his hand went down to cup an entire ass cheek, she whimpered in fright against his flesh.

The sound of her fear was like a shock and, as suddenly as he had begun, he stopped. A second later, the Eok warrior stood five feet away from her.

The moon shone a pale light on his features, and his eyes seemed to glow as if lit from within. His gaze trailed over her body and she was aware of her breasts pushing against the thin fabric, the plunging shape of her neckline, revealing way too much skin. His chest heaved as he stood there, his expression one of pure shock.

Then he turned his back on her and left, disappearing into the night.
