Includes a brand-new map and original bonus novella!
Politics have never been October “Toby” Daye’s strong suit. When she traveled to the Kingdom of Silences to prevent them from going to war with her home, the Kingdom of the Mists, she wasn’t expecting to return with a cure for elf-shot and a whole new set of political headaches.
Now the events she unwittingly set in motion could change the balance of modern Faerie forever, and she has been ordered to appear before a historic convocation of monarchs, hosted by Queen Windermere in the Mists and overseen by the High King and Queen themselves.
Naturally, things have barely gotten underway when the first dead body shows up. As the only changeling in attendance, Toby is already the target of suspicion and hostility. Now she needs to find a killer before they can strike again—and with the doors locked to keep the guilty from escaping, no one is safe.
As danger draws ever closer to her allies and the people she loves best, Toby will have to race against time to prevent the total political destabilization of the West Coast and to get the convocation back on track…and if she fails, the cure for elf-shot may be buried forever, along with the victims she was too slow to save.
Because there are worse fates than sleeping for a hundred years.

Once Broken Faith: An October Daye Novel will keep you on the edge of your seat! I love, love love Toby! The book starts with Toby and the gang relaxing at home thinking that they can have some downtime. The High King and Queen has ordered Toby to appear before them at Queen Windermere. They are to discuss whether or not to wake up those sleeping the effects of elf shot. We all know what happens when they are called into appear before someone? You guessed it, “All HELL breaks loose”. In classic Toby fashion, she is out to save the world! Toby as usual blazes into trouble head on. I love this series and this book! I believe this is the best book so far. If you have not read this series, I urge you to do so. The writing and world building are very well-developed. I give ONCE BROKEN FAITH 5/5 STARS.

8,994 P.E.—The elven city of Elvorium has become corrupted to the core by politics. With his father dead and the Royal Schism at his back, Prince Hairem ascends the throne as king of the elven world on Sevrigel. Young and bold, Hairem is determined to undo the council’s power, but the brutal murders by an assassin loosed within the city threaten to undermine the king’s ambitions.
As corruption and death threaten to tear Elvorium apart from within, the warlord Saebellus threatens the city from without, laying siege to Sevrigel’s eastern capital. With the elven world crumbling around him, Hairem finds himself in a dangerous political balance between peace and all out war.

Kings or Pawns (Steps of Power: The Kings Book 1) is a masterpiece! The characters and story line are very well-developed. With the old King dead and the Prince Hairem taking the throne, he is shaking up the Council. Now there is an assassin now murdering the council . This is also going on as the same time as the war they are fighting in against warlord Saebellus. He is a threat to the city, and to the city Sevrigel. This is a fantasy series worth reading. If you love the Dungeon &Dragon series of books, this would be up there with them with names like R.A. Salvator, and Ed Greenwood. I loved this book and cannot wait for the next. I give KINGS OR PAWNS 5/5 STARS. Are we Kings or Pawns? You decide?
Easy-going Drace MacKinnon loves his job playing a hero knight in an equestrian themed dinner theater in Las Vegas. Fate, a dragon and an ancient god have other plans for him. Abducted by magic, Drace is thrust into the medieval world of the Were, shape-shifting warriors. Leading them is the woman warrior, Ki, whose spirit matches the lioness she can become. While beautiful, she is also arrogant and deadly. Forced together to fight an old enemy of her people, love becomes their destiny. A love that is hard to keep.

DARK LORD OF KISMERA is an Amazing! The characters and world building is very well-done, and it balances out the story nicely. I loved the Dragons in the story. They balance out the story beautifully. This book shows that love has no boundaries. Drace is a medieval performer in Las Vegas, and is called the Dark Lord. He is from a different plane than Ki a shape-shifter who turns into a lioness. Now they brought Drace to their plane to help with a threat that will be coming from the South, and he is to help to eliminate the threat. He falls in love with Ki and he thinks everything is going their way. Until he is hurt very badly and the only way to save him is send him back to his plane. Once there he cannot go back. He will grieve, thinking Ki forever lost to him. He finds someone to help him find a way back. This story is awesome!! It shows that love knows no bounds when you need to find the one you love. There is a lot of action, magic, and folklore in the story. I recommend this book to everyone. TAMARA H. HARTL is an author to watch out for. She is going to go far. I give DARK LORD OF KISMERA 5/5 STARS. Don’t miss out on this great read. Get it today! You will not be disappointed.
