Heat it Up: Off the Ice – Book One is a well-developed blend of characters.  I liked the story line and characters. Sofia goes to Finland for a work exchange program for her field of study as an athletic trainer. She stays with her grandmother for the duration of her stay. Kyle goes to Finland to help a fellow NHL player to coach a youth hockey league.  Kyle’s hockey career is basically over after a car crash killed his wife and left him severely injured. When Sofia asks Kyle to be her fake boyfriend so her Grandmother will quit fixing her up with guys. This is such a great story, and I recommend HEAT IT UP to everyone.  I give HEAT IT UP 5/5 STARS.

Whiskey Tribute: A Trident Security Series Novella – Book 5.5 is a fantastic addition to THE TRIDENT SECURITY SERIES. The characters and story line are well-developed. I love these characters and books. Curt has fallen in love with Dana, but he is afraid to lose her friendship. He promised his friend Eric that he would take care of Dana and the kids if anything happened to him. Curt and the rest of Trident security are always there helping Dana with anything she needs. Dana is starting to feel something for Curt and it is just not friendship. Is she ready to move on with Curt? Samantha A. Cole is a writer to watch out for. She is destined for great things. If you have not read any of the Trident Securities books, I urge you to do so. You will not be disappointed. I give Whiskey Tribute 5/5 stars.

Hardened by Steel (Steel Corps Book 2) is the second book in this series and it delivers a great story. The characters and story line are well-developed. The story follows a secret part of the military that no one knows exists. “Mac” is the leader of this group, and she is recovering from events from book one CORE OF STEEL. They get a new member of the STEEL CORPS to replace a fallen member. There are members of this group that are not happy with their member, because he is the cousin of the one who betrayed them. They will have to get over this prejudice and deal with the case ahead of them. This mission will show how HARDENED BY STEEL they really are. If you love military stories them you will love this one. I loved the characters in this book. If you have not started this series then I urge you to do so. I am putting J.B. Haven on my authors to watch out for list. I will definitely read more books from this author. I give HARDENED BY STEEL 5/5 STARS.

Core of Steel (Steel Corps Book 1) captured me from the very first. The characters and story line are very well-developed. Mic is the Staff Sergeant of the Steel Corps. They are part of the Armed Forces that does missions under the radar that the US Military cannot be associated with. The Steel Corps is the best of the best. When they are sent to retrieve an undercover operative from a drug cartel, things might not go the way they should. J.B.Havens is an Author to keep your eye on. I know I sure will! I give Core of Steel (Steel Corps Book 1) 5/5 stars.

Hot Cowboy Nights (Lucky Penny Ranch) is another hit for Carolyn Brown! Carolyn Brown weaves a story that will have you wishing for your own hot cowboy for the night. Toby has come to town to help work his share of The Lucky Penny Ranch, and he meets Lizzy. Lizzy has been recently dumped by her fiancé before the wedding to be with another woman. Now with a hot cowboy living next door, things get steamy really fast. When Toby agrees to be her pretend boyfriend, he will have to keep his hands to himself in private. When things start to get serious, they will have to re-evaluate what they really want. I really loved this story and series. This book is a keeper and has me wanting the next story. Carolyn Brown’s heart warming stories always makes me smile. I recommend this story to everyone. I give Hot Cowboy Nights (Lucky Penny Ranch) 5/5 stars.
