Dark Protector (A Werewolf Romance) (Moon Shifter Series Book 6) is a great addition to this series. The characters and story line are very well-developed. When vampires go missing, Aldric, (a shifter) must find them to avert a possible war with the shifters and vampires. Aldric didn’t want to get involved with Natalia even though they are mates, he does not want to lose someone again like his last mate. The more that they are together on this case, he knows he cannot stay away. I loved this book and series! I cannot get enough of this series. If you have not read this series, I recommend that you do so. I give DARK PROTECTOR 5/5 STARS.

Another Awesome book by Carolyn Brown!!! A Heap of Texas Trouble is set in the town of Cadillac, Texas. Carlene owns the lingerie shop called Bless My Bloomers where she makes custom lingerie. When Carlene’s husband Lenny asks her to bring his briefcase to him at the office, she finds a pair of red underwear in his briefcase.  Now Lenny is in A HEAP OF TEXAS TROUBLE and her name is Carlene. The antics that Carlene’s family and friends pull will have you howling with laughter, especially when they try to make a batch of chili for the cook-off. In my opinion Carolyn Brown has not written a bad book. They have always been sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. If you have not read anything of hers, I urge you to do so now. I  guarantee you will enjoy the ride. So, on that note, I give A HEAP OF TEXAS TROUBLE 5/5 STARS.

REVIEW – LEGAL WOLF’S MATE

In Eve Langlais’s Legal Wolf’s Mate—previously published in the anthology Growl— taking on a pro bono murder case isn’t a problem for a lawyer who enjoys a challenge. Discovering his new client is his mate? A tad more complicated. Gavin has no intention of settling down, especially not with a woman accused of murder. Legal Wolf’s Mate is a masterpiece of work! The characters and story line are well-developed. If you are looking for  quick read! Look no farther. It will have you chuckling in no time. The characters and story line are well-developed, with a great cast of characters. Megan has been accused of killing her boss and has gone to Gavin’s law firm for help. When Gavin meets Megan he immediately knows that she is his mate. Now he has to help her at all cost. When she goes home and finds out that her house has been ransacked, she goes to Gavin to help her. That  was a great idea, for later there is a body found in her house. With Megan staying with Gavin all night helps to clear her of the murder of the person in her home. I love Eve Langlais! Her books are wonderful! I loved this book and series. I give LEGAL WOLF’S MATE 5/5 stars.

Renegade Dragon (Dragon Heat Book 4) is a roller coaster of a ride! The story line and character development are well-developed. Eris is looking for her best friend who went missing. The bread crumbs of information leads her to an estate that is secluded from anyone else. Nikos is locked away to protect himself during his mating heat. He watches Eris on the security camera as she breaks into the house. When she eats a golden apple from the sacred tree, he must kill her. When he is standing in front of her he notices that she is his mate. If you have not read any of the books in this series, I would recommend starting with the first book so you will not be lost. On that note, I loved the book and give RENEGADE DRAGON 5/5 STARS.

Curse on the Land (A Soulwood Novel) is phenomenal!! Nell has grown some since the last book. Things have gotten weird. They are called out when a group of ducks are found swimming in a constant circle and others are coming up dead. Nell’s power is getting stronger and she has to learn to use it as she goes along, but when a curse is put on the land, she better learn fast. With the full moon coming up in a few days, things will start to get hairy and she might be a few people short on the case. I loved the ending with Rick, and that is all I will say about it. I love Faith’s writing and the way she presents Nell’s world. The world building is flawless. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Nell and the gang next. If you have not picked up a Faith Hunter book, then you don’t know what you are missing. Go out and get your copy today!! I loved this book and give  CURSE ON THE LAND 5/5 STARS.
