one texas cowboy too many book cover
Carolyn Brown’s New York Times and USA Today bestselling cowboys prove that love is bigger in Burnt Boot, Texas

She’s got too many cowboys on her hands
Leah Brennan has always been the good girl of the Brennan family, groomed to become the matriarch of the clan. When a dark-eyed, tattooed, ponytailed bad boy saunters into her life, Leah knows he’s off-limits-but his mesmerizing gaze makes her forget everything she used to think was important. As town-wide tension rises, Leah wonders if love really can conquer all…

And the whole town’s taking sides
When Rhett O’Donnell roars into Burnt Boot on a hot July evening, the first thing he sees is a beautiful blonde. She puts a little extra giddy-up in his heartbeat, but when Rhett’s desire throws him into the middle of a love triangle and a hundred-year-old feud, he realizes that winning his cowgirl’s heart will be a lot more complicated than he thought.

Review -Outside the Lines By Ally Bishop

outside the lines coverBlue. I’ve always been the problem child. My name alone should have warned anyone with a half a mind that I’d be trouble. Who’s named for the broken crayon nobody wants?

Professor Rhys Kennison should have seen me coming a mile away, and I should have known better than to fall for someone so far out of my league. But his touch is like fire and his taste…like the finest chocolate. What woman could resist that combination?

We’re headed for disaster, though—after all, it’s what I know best. No matter how hard I try, I can’t stop destroying anyone who gets too close. And Rhys doesn’t understand. How could he? When I don’t even understand myself?

Outside the Lines (Without a Trace Book 4) is a book that shows that when bad things happen, we will find ways to cope with it. I loved this book and fell in love with Blue and Rhys. Blue has been in and out of hospitals, because of her destructive behavior. What she does not know that there is something in her past that she has forgotten about that pushed her to try to cope with it. So, the behavior is a by-product of this event that happened when she was younger. She meets Rhys when she goes to her math Professor to get help with her algebra that she just cannot wrap her mind around it. There first encounter is explosive and they were instantly attracted to one another. As their relationship grows, Rhys helps her find out that she has a learning disability that prevents her from understanding her school work. She also finds out what happened to her when she was younger. OUTSIDE THE LINES is a very hot read, and I give it 5/5 stars.

But the new owner of the most ramshackle ranch in Texas might just change her mind about that. He’s six-foot-plus of tall, dark, and charming-the kind of guy who could make a girl throw caution to the wind . . . or the kind of guy who could break her heart.

Blake Dawson hopes he can make Lucky Penny Ranch finally live up to its name, but the property needs a ton of work. Allie and her carpentry skills are his best shot at getting things in order. Besides the fact that her brown eyes and dangerous curves have him roped and tied. Now Blake only needs to convince her that a wild cowboy can be tamed by love-and she’s just the one to do it . . .

REVIEW – RIVER BY MARIE YORK

river

River Ryan is used to getting his way. Girls, parties, drugs… As the lead singer of Deadly Intent, he’s got the rockstar lifestyle down pat. But when journalist, Harper James, shows up to follow the band around for an article, River just sees her as another groupie. Little does he know, Harper is actually a spy for the label, and they want him out.

An unlikely love story about love on the road and how two people who couldn’t be more different actually fit together perfectly.

I was given a copy of this book by the Author for an honest review.

RIVER is a quick read. The characters and story line are well-developed. River Ryan is the lead singer of the band  DEADLY INTENT, and until he met Harper he thought the whole rock star lifestyle was what he wanted. The drugs, women, and booze is getting to where they don’t interest him anymore. Secrets will be revealed and love will be tested. This will pull at your heartstrings when you find out how and why he formed the band. I cannot wait to read more by Marie York. I give RIVER 4/5 STARS.
