Jayce is an enforcer for the Shifter Council, Kat walked away from him when a lie broke her heart. Now he wants her back in his life after an attack nearly, and resulted in her being turned. He hopes it is not too late to resolve the issues that tore them apart before the radical Antiparanormal League(APL) takes her away from him forever.
Kat still loves Jayce, but will their relationship workout in the end. He has lied to her before, what is to keep him from doing it again. Now that she is turned he has to deal with the facts that he does not always has to protect her. She can take care of herself.
This book is really good. The characters are well-developed, and some of the supporting characters will make you drool. I loved this series from the first, and give this book a 5/ 5 stars.
