REVIEW – BLOOD SLAVE BY KATHLEEN COLLINS

Can she find a killer in a town where the basest desires are allowed to run free?

There are zombies in the Dead Zone and Juliana Norris is sent to take care of the problem. And for there to be zombies, there had to be bodies. When vampires are found to be the culprits, Juliana is sent undercover in the red light district of Kansas City. Lying to her mate, Thomas Kendrick, isn’t something she wants to do, but she’s in another vampire’s territory and Thomas would not be pleased. Besides, she’s more than capable of doing the job and she needs to prove it to everyone. Most of all herself.

Charles Morgan is in control of the Kansas City area, making a rich living off his various enterprises. Juliana goes undercover at the strip club Lust and gets sucked into his dark, decadent world. More victims turn up and the Agency is positive they’ve got their man, but Juliana is not so sure. When the Agency refuses to listen, she reluctantly turns to Thomas for help. He intervenes but finds Juliana unaware of the danger she is in and discovers she may just be too deep for him to save.

Juliana is at it again in BLOOD SLAVE. Bodies are showing up in the Dead Zone and they are rising again as  Zombies along with a Zombie Pomeranian.  They trace the bodies to a town in the Mid West, Kansas City. Now Juliana and Nathaniel are going undercover in Kansas City to see who is involved in these deaths. She will have to do it without telling Thomas, because it is in a rival Vampires town. He would want to follow the rules in dealing with another Vampire Boss, but when things go wrong she has to tell Thomas so she can nab the killer.This will put her in a situation in which might end up turning her into a blood slave. This is such a great series and cannot wait for more.I recommend this book to everyone, and I give BLOOD SLAVE 5/5 STARS.

REVIEW- WHEN A BETA ROARS BY EVE LANGLAIS


How degrading. Stuck babysitting a woman because his alpha said so. As Pride Beta, he has better things to do with his time, like washing his impressive mane, hunting down thugs for fun, and chasing tail—sometimes his own if his lion is feeling playful.

But his babysitting job takes an unexpected turn when the woman he’s assigned guard duty over turns out to be his mate.

A female threatened by an outside wolf pack.

A woman he wants to call his own.

A mate who doesn’t fall for his charm.

Usually Beta’s leave the roaring to the Pride’s alpha, but in this case given his level of frustration, he might have to make an exception. And if anyone doesn’t like it, they can kiss his furry tail.

Hayder’s Pride will do everything in their power to help keep her safe. The females of the Pride are always ready for a good fight. I love this book and all the characters in it.  I love all the humor, and snarkyness , of the characters. If you love her other shifter books, you will love this one. Yeah, I know that was not very manly of me. I have to say it through me for a loop. Now she needs my help in finding out who is following her and why? Kat was put in witness protection with her father after her mother and brother were killed in a suspicious car wreck. Now she is back and Ben and the Trident Security team has to find who is after her. This book will have you on the edge of your seat with the action in this book . The sexual chemistry of these two is off the chart. I highly recommend this series to everyone. Go out and get this book when it is released! You will love it! I give WAITING FOR HIM 5/5 stars.

I loved A MESS OF REASON! The characters and story grabbed me from the first page. If you have been in love with your best friend since school, would you jeopardize your friendship to tell her?  Scout is about to get to that moment. He does not like the man who Tess Harlow is marrying. What can he do? He cannot let her marry that douche bag! Stryker and me are going to be the only males at her bachelorette  party. I can’t take anymore of her fiancée, and the way he treats her. Will I lose her forever when I tell her. I love Scout and Tess. Tess is also carrying around a secret that she has told no-one about. If she lets Scout know, she knows he will leave her. I recommend this book, and it is a great story. I give A MESS OF REASON 5 /5 STARS.
