Silence Fallen (A Mercy Thompson Novel) will have you wanting more Mercy and Adam! Mercy and the grange are having a not so quiet evening at home playing swashbuckling video games. What could possibly go wrong? Everything can with Mercy! It is like she is a magnet pulling trouble to her. She is in the kitchen making cookies for the pirates in the other room, when she has to go to the store to get eggs. As she is leaving the convince store parking lot she is kidnapped from her car after it is hit. Adam and the rest of the pack is alerted to Mercy being in trouble by the pack bond. They rush to where she was, to find out they were too late. To make matters worse, the kidnappers have taken Mercy overseas. She can’t rely on the pack bond, because she is too far for Adam and her to make a connection. Now she has to rely on herself and strangers in a strange land with no money, phone or computer. Just what she was taken in.

This sets up a whole new type of trouble for Mercy! Poor Adam is going out of his mind trying to locate her. All in all, it is a great read. I recommend this book to everyone. If you have not started this series, what is wrong with you? Seriously, you will enjoy them!! I give Silence Fallen 5/5 stars!!! Now *twiddling thumbs* the wait begins until the next book.

I have been anticipating FIRE TOUCHED, since I finished NIGHT BROKEN. This book did  not disappoint.  It has action, humor, and lots of Mercy. Patricia Briggs’ character development and world building is awesome. When one of the children of Underhill escape, they must make a bargain with the Fae before they declare war on Mercy’s home town. Aiden is one of the children of Underhill, but when you are in Underhill you will be changed. Aiden is Fire Touched. He is unable to control his fire, and when his emotions are running high, things tend to go up in flame. He is basically an Adult in a child’s body. As usual with Mercy, things have a tendency to go from bad to worse. I love the Mercy universe! If you have not read this series, then I urge you to start  reading it today.  I give FIRE TOUCHED 5/5 STARS.You will be laughing from the first page. Now I have to wait patiently for the next book. Oh, the AGONY!!

“Kelly Meding is a real storyteller and I look forward to reading more of her work.”—Patricia Briggs, New York Times Bestselling Author

Raised on a steady diet of Star Wars, Freddy Krueger and “Fear Street” novels, Kelly Meade developed a love for all things paranormal at a very young age. The stealthy adolescent theft of a tattered paperback from her grandmother’s collection of Harlequins sparked an interest in romance that has continued to this day. Writing as Kelly Meding, Meade is the author of the Dreg City urban fantasy and the MetaWars books.

WHITE KNIGHT is a great ending to this series. It has a well-developed story line and characters. Knight  McQUEEN is a rare white wolf who is able to calm the wolves around him. He was kidnapped when he was younger by another wolf run(pack). He was recently kidnapped by  a group of hybrid vampire/ magi who wanted him to help them have a baby. These women are deranged and will get him at the cost of killing off other wolf runs(packs). Now he has to find his mate Shay Butler who was kidnapped by them a month ago. I loved this book and how Kelly Meade wrapped everything up. I recommend this book to everyone, and I give WHITE KNIGHT 5/ 5 STARS.

GREY BISHOP is the second book in the Cornerstone trilogy. It features three brothers, a black wolf, grey wolf and the rare white wolf. In GREY BISHOP it is centering on the oldest brother Bishop, who is the next in line for Alpha of the run when his father steps down. Jillian is the next female Alpha of her run when her father steps down, but when they are threatened by the three psycho sisters who want the white wolf Knight, Bishop’s brother, they have to keep him safe so the psycho sisters don’t make psycho babies with Knight. When Jillian’s town is hit by the sisters and Bishop’s run helps to neutralize the threat, both Jillian’s and Bishop’s father are killed. This is a great installment to this series, with well-developed characters and storyline. If you have not read any of her books, definitely start this series. Her Dreg City series under the name Kelly Meding is a great series also. I give GREY BISHOP, 5/5 stars.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK, OF YOUR FAVORITE SERIES?

frost burned
For me, I guess the book that I would choose would be FROST BURNED. This book just had me laughing from chapter 1. The action in this book is basically non-stop. Mercy has always been one of my favorite characters. She is a strong, kick-ass character, and gives as good as she gets. Adam and her are perfect together. She makes sure to bring out his playful side. She also loves Adam’s daughter.

So tell me, What is your favorite book, of your favorite series?

 Book Description
Publication Date: March 5, 2013
In this #1 New York Times bestseller, author Patricia Briggs “has reached perfection” (The Nocturnal Library), as Mercy Thompson faces a shapeshifter’s biggest fear…

After an accident in bumper-to-bumper traffic, Mercy and her stepdaughter, Jesse, can’t reach Alpha werewolf Adam—or anyone else in the pack, for that matter. They’ve all been abducted.

Through their mating bond, all Mercy knows is that Adam is angry and in pain. But she fears Adam’s disappearance may be related to the political battle the werewolves have been fighting to gain acceptance from the public—and that he and the pack are in serious danger. Outmatched and on her own, Mercy may be forced to seek assistance from any ally she can get, no matter how unlikely.
