A Knock in the Attic—my second award-winning book—is, as Uri
Geller stated, “a fascinating true story of incredible psychic
experiences.”

In these entertaining and adventure filled stories I’ll tell you what it
was like to grow up with a powerful and accurate psychic gift that sometimes
spooked the adults around me, leaving them bug-eyed and slack-jawed; and
I’ll relate some of the emotions I experienced while encountering
hair-raising visitations from ghosts on a regular basis.

I’ll share with you the times when my own Guardian Angels not only
protected me from physical harm but when they also literally saved my life
with a belated Christmas Miracle, to the astonishment of others who said I
had lived through the impossible.

Travel with me to Roswell where I have my very own “‘UFO’
encounter” at the Roswell UFO Museum, an encounter that validated the
fact that the Roswell UFO crash was a real event and also explained why many
witnesses to UFOs are reluctant to come forward.

Plus: I’ll tell you what it was like to meet Uri Geller; give you a
behind-the-scenes look at filming the TV pilot for The History Channel; take
you along with me to a haunted horse barn; and then…what was that knocking
in the attic…?

You’ll enjoy more than a few spine-tingling moments as you join me to
experience these astonishing true stories of the unknown…incredible
paranormal events that you will not soon forget.

Praise for A Knock in the Attic

“John Russell’s A Knock in the Attic is a fascinating true story of
incredible psychic experiences.  If you are a skeptic or a believer
this is a book for you.” — Uri Geller

“This is a book that is filled with adventure and mind-blowing
experiences…[told in] prose that is crisp and in a voice that is
irresistible.” — 5 Star Review by Grace Masso for Readers’
Favorite

“John’s second book, A Knock in the Attic, is an experiential tour de
force of the Other Side.  John immerses us in his life’s fascinating
journey through planes both seen and unseen, giving us powerful insights
into how the two worlds intersect. With his distinctive Texas-style
storytelling, John has laid out a must-read for anybody wanting to gain more
clarity about all things paranormal.” — Jim Mullen,
multi-award-winning television producer/editor/writer

“Takeaway:  Readers who enjoy a good heart-racing, spooky ghost
story will enjoy this collection claiming real-life encounters with the
paranormal world.  Great for fans of:  Alvin Schwartz’s Scary
Stories to Tell in the Dark; Sylvia Browne’s The Other Side and Back.”
— BookLife (by Publishers Weekly)

“I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars.  In response to John’s
message to his readers on the last page:  yes, this book has challenged
me, made me laugh, given me food for thought, and inspired me.  I
highly recommend this book to ALL readers who love reading real paranormal
stories.” — Shey Saints’s Reviews

Book Description

         Publication Date:         May 27, 2009

Joanne Walker has three days to learn to use her shamanic powers and save the world from the unleashed Wild Hunt.
No worries. No pressure. Never mind the lack of sleep, the perplexing new talent for healing herself from fatal wounds, or the cryptic, talking coyote who appears in her dreams.
And if all that’s not bad enough, in the three years Joanne’s been a cop, she’s never seen a dead body–but she’s just come across her second in three days.
It’s been a bitch of a week.
And it isn’t over yet.

BOOK DESCRIPTION COURTESY OF AMAZON

I loved this book and series. It is a great start to an urban fantasy series. It blends native myths and Celtic mythology  in a way that draws you into the book and k

eeps you wanting more. The story starts out with Joanne coming home from Ireland from her mother’s funeral that she has not seen since she was a baby, when she sees a woman being attacked from the plane. She tries to let someone know what she saw but no one believes that she saw it from the plane. So she investigates it herself and meets the Wild Hunt. Here is where the action really takes off and it is a roller coaster ride from then on. She battles the master of the Wild Hunt Cerunnuos and almost dies. She has to use her Shaman abilities to heal herself and also try to master her new-found abilities before she gets killed. She also has to find out why the Wild Hunt has  gone wrong and correct it. This book had a well-developed story line and characters. I give Urban Shaman 5/5 stars.

WITCH HEART BY ANYA BAST

WITCH HEART BK 3buynow

Book Description

         Publication Date:         January 6, 2009
Third in the Elemental Witch series from the national bestselling author
View our feature on Anya Bast’s Witch Heart.
Claire, a demon’s handmaiden, is rescued from enslavement by a handsome playboy. Now they’re both in danger of being captured by warlocks who are determined to harness Claire’s powers for evil.
I loved reading Witch Heart. The story line and characters were well-developed. The story draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the last page is read. Claire returns to the Earth realm where she was born, when she escapes the demon realm. She is on the run from those that have enslaved her, because she has stolen the Elium.  The Atrika demons want the Elium at all cost. Adam Tyrell is assigned to protect Claire by the Earth Witches. When Claire and Adam get together, Adam is very captivated by Claire. The sparks, and sexual tension between these  two is very hot. Adam will  sacrifice anything for Claire. I highly recommend this book and any of Anya Bast books. I give Witch Heart 4/5 stars.

Aislinn  is of the Seelie court and pure Tuatha De, she can communicate with the dead and if they should find out she would be banned to the Unseelie court. Gabriel is half incubus and part of the unseelie court. He is sent by the Shadow King to seduce Aislinn back over to the black tower. Gabriel is part of the Wild Hunt, he leads the nightly hunt to reap souls.I loved reading this book, and the character development and the story line was well-developed.  Aislinn and Gabriel are great together. The banter between both of them is great.  Wicked Enchantment is a very good read,  where you get sucked into the world of the Fae and you don’t return until the book is finished.
I loved the whole Dark Magic series, and Wicked Enchantment I give it 5/5 stars.
