Now that he is home he tries to stop Juliana’s marriage, but falls asleep in the church drunk.  Now that Juliana is jilted at the alter he has a second chance to show her his love. Will he be worthy of her, or will she think he is mad like everyone else?

This book has a great story line a characters. This book shows that when you that all doors were closed to you, that one window was left open and that chance is there, whether it be love, happiness, peace of mind, or whatever you are looking for at that time in your life it is there. You just have to go looking for it. This is a warm-hearted read, about two people really getting to know each other, not just as friends, but as lovers, a true couple.

She is helping him deal with what he saw over in the war, and to show people that he is not mad. Their love for each other will help them overcome any obstacles in their paths. I really liked The Seduction Of Elliot McBride and I give it 5/5 stars.

I just finished this book last night, and it was fantastic. Jill Shalvis knows how to great story. The characters and the plot line are amazing.  Leah and Jack have been friends ever since Leah moved into the house next to Jack. He has always been there for here through the hard times, when her Dad was always telling her she would never amount to nothing. He slowly started to fall in love with her and he didn’t know it. She has always loved him, but did not want to mess up their friendship. She wanted to prove that she could make something of herself, and that she was not always the screw up that her father kept calling her.

When she comes back to help her grandmother with her bakery while she recuperates, she ends up telling a little lie to Jack’s mother to make her feel better. Now her and Jack have to start acting like a real couple, but is it all an act or is it real.  In the end they both profess their love after Leah nearly walks out on Jack once again.

I loved this story, with all the laughter and humorous situations that the characters are put in. I highly recommend this book and the others in the series. I give it 5/ 5 stars.

Here are the books in the series.
