I started a new medication yesterday and ended up with one of the mild side effects. Lets just say me and a half of a bottle of Imodium later, I think I might have it beat. I have not been able to eat much today, because my stomach won’t let me. I also have been drinking a lot of water and Gatorade. I also have slept almost all day today. We had a front move in overnight that brought in sleet, rain, and some snow, I have been in pain with my back and knees also.
Last night I took a painkiller before bed, and then woke up around 3am to take another. I was still in quit a bit of pain. This morning I was still in pain, so I ate a little bit of something and went back to bed. I am thinking about bed again. My stomach is doing that gurgling thing, so I am going to make this short. I hope I am better tomorrow. Talk with you later.
This morning at around 5:30 a.m. I got up to go to the bathroom and my chest started hurting. I laid down, because my back was hurting also with it. It would not let up, and the pain continued to get worse. There was no pain in my left arm or jaw. I went to the kitchen to get an aspirin and my sister was there. She went to my mom’s room and got two baby aspirin. They were not doing nothing so my mom got me a regular aspirin and it helped. She took my blood pressure and it was very low(too low).
I check the antibiotic that I was taking to see what the side effect was, and it would cause chest pains. So now I know that I cannot take Azithromycin. I took my blood pressure 2 more times and it went back to normal. So far no more chest pains. I have never had chest pains before, that was the first time that I have ever had them. I take blood pressure pills to regulate my blood pressure. I will make sure to keep an eye on it so it does not get low again. So I have been taking it easy, because I have to go to work tomorrow. I am not looking forward to working in the photo lab. I hate standing around and would rather be putting up freight.
Yesterday, I went and had injections in my knees. This is a viscosupplement injection. Made from a natural substance that lubricates and cushions your joint, it can provide up to six months of osteoarthritis knee pain relief with just one injection. I could not in do anything strenuous for 48 hours. The first day my knees were a little sore and feverish, but otherwise my knees feel good.
Today my knees feel better, and can actually climb the steps out front to get to my truck without pain. The only time I have had any pain is if I step wrong or when I am eating at a T.V. tray in my seat in the living room. The doctor said it will last about 6 months. I hope by then I can have my surgery. To fix my knee. So now I have to concentrate on losing the weight so I can guarantee that I get the surgery.
Friday I have physical therapy at 7:30 in the morning, so no sleeping. The torture will begin, then at 1:00 I have to go for a fitting on my new knee brace at Allen’s Orthotics. I will be glad to get it. It is going to be yellow, not the drab grey, or black, yeah yellow! As you can tell I like yellow. So I guess that is all for now.
