There’s Something He’s Never Told Her…
When her workplace burned down, Claudia should’ve taken it as a sign to move on—and not just professionally. She’s been secretly lusting after her mysterious boss, Anthony Cross, for years. There’s no way she should agree to help him rebuild if she wants to keep her heart intact, and yet it’s impossible to stay away…
The flames that destroyed Anthony Cross’s beloved bar are nothing compared to the heat he feels every time he lays eyes on Claudia. But he can’t have her—it’s against paranormal law for a vampire to date a human. Besides, he has some dangerous enemies, and one in particular already has her sights on Claudia. He owes her the truth—both about his feelings and his vampire nature—which means their lives are about to get hotter than ever…

KISSING WITH FANGSis a sexy, fun, paranormal romance. I have enjoyed all of Ashlyn Chase’s books, and they always seem to bring a smile to my face. Claudia is harboring a few secrets. Anthony has always been in love with Claudia since they met. Now that the bar has been burned to the ground, Claudia and Anthony are at loose ends. When Anthony goes to Claudia’s apartment he finds out about one of her secrets, that she is an alcoholic. He wonders how she was able to keep it a secret for so long while working in the bar. In light of Claudia’s alcoholism he decides not to reopen the bar and decides to open a tea shop. Paranormal s are being kidnapped and they don’t know who is doing it. The characters and storyline are well-developed. I also enjoyed seeing other characters from other books. I enjoyed reading KISSING WITH FANGS, and I give it 4/5 stars.

My Nephew Wendell, who is my oldest nephew, just recently discovered this author on htt://www.wattpad.com and recommended this author Catrina Burgess to me. He said that her books remind him of Kat Richardson‘s Greywalker (Greywalker, Book 1) books. He said that they are just a little bit darker. He cannot wait for book 3, for her writing is awesome. I have it on my list of books to read, now when I will get the time to read it that is a whole new story.
I have joined wattpad so I can see what authors are up and coming and if there are any good books out there. Apparently there is, because my nephew has just about read everything on wattpad. He has been reading 3-5 books a day. When he cannot sleep he will read all night long. I can say he now reads faster than I do now. I can usually read 3-5 books a week, but a day, not gonna happen, Here lately it is a struggle to just stay awake when I get home from work. That is the reason I have not posted in a few days. I get home, eat, sit down and get ready to post and before I know it, I am fast asleep. Usually someone has to wake me up to go to bed.
When I go to bed, I think I will read for a bit and before I know it I am rolling over onto my kindle. I have been doing that a lot lately. I guess my iron is low again, because this happens when it gets low. I am anemic and have to take iron pills daily. Sometimes I forget, and I will have to double up on them. I am getting off subject. Check out this author Catrina Burgess, I know I will. I guess that will be all for now, and I will talk with you tomorrow.
When Vivian’s father suddenly shows up back into her life, everything goes to hell fast. She is suddenly on the run with a guy who claims to be a werewolf. Jason has been sent by her father to bring her back to the pack, and when she gets there she has a short time with her father before they are attacked and he is killed. The characters are very likeable, and the story line was great. This was a fun read, with a few twists and turns in the plot. And the suspense of who betrayed the pack had you guessing until the end. I would recommend this to my friends and family. I really enjoyed the book, so I give it 5/5 stars.
Today I have been sitting here staring at a blank screen giving myself a headache trying to think of something to write. This has really been going on for about a week now. I sit at the computer trying to think up something to write about, but nothing comes to mind. I know I need to write something besides book reviews all the time, but since I started back to work it is like the creativity has been stifled, or choked off.
Nothing seems to flow as easily from my brain to the paper anymore. I cannot even write on the children’s bookHOW TO CATCH A HUMAN. That one is usually easy to write. Now I can’t even grasp onto one little pea size thought on that book. I also have been so tired that at night when I go to bed and read I fall asleep within the first fifteen minutes. I normally read maybe two hours or more. I catch my kindle falling on my face and it wakes me up, or my sister or nephew will come into the room to get to the bathroom and ask me if I want them to turn out the light for me since I have dozed off.
Wish I could figure out what is causing this writers block, so I could resolve the issue. Until then I will continue to try to work around it and find things to write about. I am thinking about pulling out one of my novels that I am working on and start posting it here to see what you think about it. That way I can get your feed back on what I should keep and get rid of. It will help me out a lot. I will continue to try to write content at work so I can post it when I get home. It is almost time for bed, so I will talk with you tomorrow.
