REVIEW – LEXIN’S QUEST BY TAMARA H. HARTL

lexin's quest cover
Called back from Oralia to serve the High King, Lexin of Bellmore is sent on a quest for a lost son long thought dead. The seemingly futile quest is made more difficult by secrets Lexin has learned prior to his departure, ones that alienate him from kin and any hope for love. Cerise MacKinnon is kinswoman to the Dark Lord of Kismera and his wife Ki, ruler of Oralia. With feelings for Lexin left unexplored when he departed for the High Kingdom, Cerise uses her viable talents to ensconce herself in the castle in order to contribute to the prosperity of Oralia. When Lexin returns, seeking aid in his search, Cerise finds a way to insert herself into the mission, hoping to rekindle the spark between them.

I was given a copy of this book by the Author for an honest review.
Lexin’s Quest (Knights of Kismera Book 2) is a wonderful adventure and journey. The characters and world building are very well-developed. When Lexin is sent on a quest to find the High King’s son who they thought was dead, Cerise goes on the quest with him. Something has put a strain on their relationship since The Dark Lord of Kismera.  Lexin wonders if he is good enough for Cerise, but Cerise tries in so many way that she wants him no matter what. I love the storytelling that Tamara H. Hartl.  The whole world building and descriptions makes you feel like you are there in the story. I urge you to read this book and series, and I hope you like it as much as I do. I give Lexin’s Quest (Knights of Kismera Book 2) 5/5 stars.
