Each book in this series gets better and better. Sloan has to go back to high school, for something or someone is killing girls while they are asleep.  There is no signs of forced entry, so how are they getting in? To me this would be torture, for I did not like high school.  Her love life is a regular soap opera. This book has well-developed characters and story line, with characters that help to move the story along.  I love this series and I give this boo 4/5 stars.

BLOOD OF INNOCENCE has well-developed character and story line. They have a nasty serial killer , who kills pregnant woman and drains their blood like a vampire. At one point in the story, Sloan and JT stopped to get breakfast on their way to re-check the crime scenes and when they came out JT’s car was on fire. Sloan’s computer and go to bag was destroyed.  Her dad who she thought was dead is now back with her mom, and her mom is pregnant. We have a little romance going on with Sloan liking two men, but she keeps them at arm’s length. This a great installment to the series with paranormal mystery and a little romance. I loved  BLOOD OF INNOCENCE  and i give it 4/5 stars.

Yet even as Sloan tackles her first case–a string of victims, all with puncture wounds to the neck–she can’t silence her inner para-skeptic.To catch the killer she’ll have to think like one. That means casting aside her doubts, and dealing with bizarre nightmares that started with the job. But the strangeness is only beginning, as Sloan pieces together the shocking truth about a case that’s more personal than she ever would have guessed.

I really enjoyed BLOOD OF EDEN, and the book did go into many directions as stated in other reviews that I read. I don’t believe it took away from the story, but helped the story along. Sloan Skye’s dream of going to work for the FBI,  but it is shot down.  Then she is assigned to the PBAU  (paranormal behavioral analysis unit). Where she learns that there is more out there than she knew. Now she has to figure out what is killing people and why she is having these dreams. She is still a skeptic and not about to believe that there is a vampire on the loose. Tami Dane was able to create believable characters, and a well-developed story line. Like I said i loved the book and therefore I give it 5/ 5 stars.

Here are the other books in the series.

BOOK 2Blood of Innocence (Sloane Skye)
BOOK 3Blood of Dawn (Sloane Skye)

Where do I start with this book besides I love it, I love it, I love it. There is so much action, drama with many twists and turns that you don’t know what will happen next. The story line and characters are well-developed.  Kara has to rescue Idris who was kidnapped from the last book.  Kara returns home from the demon realm where she does not work for the police department anymore, Ryan and Zack have pulled some strings with the FBI and have somehow made her a consultant with the FBI and Ryan’s dept. The guys have made themselves at home in her place, and have done some upgrades that the place needed.
Her first night there she is called out to a homicide. While she is there, she happens to trigger a Kara-Trap. A type of virus that Rhyzkahl had put on the body. The spell hit her on the side and not in the chest, thus delaying the effect of the virus. This is his plan to turn her into Rowan. Between trying to keep herself from slipping into the virus and finding Idris, this is one wild ride. When you think you have everything figured out, something else gets thrown into the mix that has you saying “Oh Crap!”.
I love this series, and I love FURY OF THE DEMON. Diana Rowland has a winner with this book, and I give it 5/ 5 stars.
