Publication Date: September 9, 2014
It’s Rachel Morgan’s ultimate adventure . . . and anything can happen in this final book in the New York Times bestselling Hollows series.

Rachel Morgan has come a long way from her early days as an inexperienced bounty hunter. She’s faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witches, and soul-eating demons. She’s crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day-walking demon. She’s lost friends and lovers and family, and an old enemy has unexpectedly become something much more.

But power demands responsibility, and world-changers must always pay a price. Rachel has known that this day would come—and now it is here.

To save Ivy’s soul and the rest of the living vampires, to keep the demonic ever after and our own world from destruction, Rachel Morgan will risk everything. . . .

Kim Harrison does it again with this final installment of the HOLLOWS SERIES. It has taken me a while to figure out what to say. It is always hard to say goodbye to your favorite characters. Rachel, Trent, Jenks, and Ivy are some of the most well-written characters that I have seen. I will miss Jenk’s little sayings, they always bring a smile to my face. Rachel has had so much character growth, with her powers, and relationships. Kim Harrison ties up everything very nicely. Rachel  has to find out how to give vampires back their soul, once they get their soul, what will keep them from committing suncide. Things just don’t go the way Rachel wants it to go. So things go to hell in a handbasket. This has been a hard review to do. I just don’t want the ride to end, so I just kept putting it off, but I took the bull by  the horns and wrote the review. For anyone who has not read this series, I urge to start it. This series will make you laugh, and cry. So now I give THE WITCH WITH NO NAME 5/5 stars. Great series, and great characters.

I HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE LIEBSTER AWARD

LIEBSTER AWARD

I want to thank Sumaira at http://hyperaboutbooks.wordpress.com/ for nominating me for the Liebster Award. This is a great honor and would like to thank everyone who read my blog. You are the reason I am here.

A Liebster Award is a blog award presented to bloggers, by other bloggers. It is just a nice way to give your fellow blogger a pat on the back, and hopefully increase their site traffic too!

So here are the rules I was given:

  1. Each nominee must link back the person who nominated them.
  2. Answer the 11 questions which are given to you by the nominator.
  3. Nominate 11 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers.
  4. Create 11 questions for your nominees to answer.
  5. Let the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and notifying them.

My questions from hyperaboutbooks:

  1. What book do you wish you never read?

Johnny Tremain in 8th grade english class. To me that book was so boring, that I had to force myself to finish reading it.

  1. Do you read one book or multiple books at a time?

One book at a time. This is a hard one to choose

  1. Your favourite underrated book?

The Nightlife series by Rob Thurman.

  1. If you were trapped on a desert island and could only take 2 books with you what would they be and why?

This is a hard one to choose. It would probably be an Anthology with my favorite authors in it and Patricia Briggs  FROST BURNED.

  1. Do you buy books based on beautiful covers?

No, by what the story is about.

  1. What do you think about E-readers and Ebooks?

I love them. I can find many free e-books online, and I have more room for books on my shelves.

  1. Is there a book/books you have multiple copies of?

Flame and the Flower by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, and Dead Witch Walking By Kim Harrison. I own the paperback and hardback copy.

  1. Favourite place to read?

In my favorite chair in the living room.

  1. Do you use bookmarks or fold over the pages?

I use a bookmark, or card, or piece of paper.

  1. Do you write in or highlight quotes/sections in book, or do you use post sticks or nothing at all?

Nothing at all.

  1. What inspired you to blog? And why?

I always loved to write, combined with giving friends and family my opinion about a book was a match made in heaven.

I’m interested to see everyone’s answers!

like most people, I am looking forward to reading this book. I am anxious to see how Kim Harrison wraps everything up in the series. Rachel Morgan is one of my favorite kick-ass heroines. Yeah most times she is just flying by the seat of her pants to try to solve what is going on, sometimes she makes it look easy, but in truth she doesn’t know what the hell she is doing. She doesn’t always have the answers, but she gets the job done. i am  hoping that Trent and her stay together, for he has been there for her since the first. He is the only guy that really gets her. The other guys that were in her life did not really know her. Trent has known her since camp, and ever since has been a thorn in her side; until she fell in love with him. Their relationship has been an odd courtship since book one  DEAD WITCH WALKING.

Out of the supporting cast Jenks is one of my favorites for his blunt way of talking and his sarcasm. He always makes me laugh when I read these books. So if you have not read this series, PLEASE, PLEASE, do so. You will not be disappointed. THE WITCH WITH NO NAME  will be the last book in the series.   🙁  I will be sad to see the series end. I know good things don’t last forever, so I will patiently until the next series.
