About the Author

Laura Daleo was born and raised in San Diego, California where she majored in Fine Arts at Mesa College.  She is best known for her love of animals and shares her home with three humorous Basset Hounds, Stuart, Morgan, and Dexter, her toughest critics.  Laura has held positions in several industries, Restaurant, Telecom, Biotech, Research, and Retail.  A creative writing class in junior high sparked her desire to tell stories.  Throughout Laura’s professional career, she crafted her writing skills by taking courses and by joining a writer’s critique group and Writers Digest.  She enjoys anything paranormal or urban fantasy related and writes in both genres for adults.

The Sight (A Devil’s Isle Novel returns with a new threat on the horizon. After keeping the wall from falling again, Claire helps Liam to find those who are threatening those who live in Devil’s Isle. Claire has to find the head of the cult who wants to find the head of the cult. The relationship between Claire and Liam moves forward. I really love the characters and the world that Chloe Neil has created. Claire has opened up to a few people about being a sensitive. If you have not read any books in the series or her other series, I urge you to do so. I give  THE SIGHT 5/5 STARS.

THE VEIL is a wonderful masterpiece. The characters and story line are very well crafted. Claire is a sensitive. A human who is able to absorb magic and now has different magical ability. When the veil between humanity and the world beyond split open, a war broke out destroying the south eastern portion of the U.S.A . Now anyone with any magic must be captured, for magic is illegal. Claire has telekinesis, and must keep it a secret. Someone wants to open the Veil and wage war with those behind it. Claire and Liam, a bounty hunter, must stop them before they open it.  I loved this book, and cannot wait to read the next one. I give THE VEIL 5/5 STARS. I recommend this book to everyone.
