I’ve never believed in love at first sight, which is probably why I write mysteries, and not romances, for a living. Besides, I’m too focused on expanding Elementary, a mystery dinner party business I own with my brother Noah. I don’t have time for romance.

When the handsome and successful Ian Crane books our services, I can barely keep my wits about me. He’s setting fire to all my rules, and I can’t resist his flames.

I don’t recognize the woman I’m becoming, but I don’t want to go back to who I was. There’s a part of me that can’t help wondering, what if he’s too good to be true? Because if he is, my heart will be nothing more than ashes.

Heat rating: Toasty warm, with plenty of flames.

CROSSING THE LINE is a sweet, sexy read. The characters and story line are well-developed. I read this in just under and hour, it had me so entranced that I could not put it down.  The story is about Ella Storm and Ian Crane. Ella is part owner of Elementary a a mystery dinner party business. She has been hired by Ian to play at his birthday party. When they both meet sparks fly, but will they be able to give each other their heart without getting it broken. I give  CROSSING THE LINE 5/5 STARS. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES TO EVERYONE.

CHARLIE-THEY WON’T SHARE THEIR FRIED POTATOES

Now they know that I love fried potatoes, and one of them made them for supper . I could smell them cooking and boy did they smell sooooo… good. When they were ready she was sitting there eating them in front of me, it was pure torture. She finally gave me a few bites, but it was not enough. Before long they were gone. So I decided to play with Sissy. I chased her around the house, and played with our toys.

It is getting cold outside, so I had them put my sweater on. Dang, Sissy found her pumpkin. I am going to have to hide it again. She gets so neurotic when she has it, that she is hard to be around. I will have to find a better hiding place. She is hurting my ears with her high-pitched yipping. Well I am getting sleepy so I am going to bed. So until next time, Charlie out.

CHARLIE HERE WITH AN UPDATE

WELL I thought I would give you an up date. Yesterday I got in trouble for chewing on the furniture. I technically was not chewing on the furniture.  I was licking the leg of the chair and the paint came off. Now they won’t let me or the others in the kitchen or dining room.  Today one of my masters grandkids wraps me up in my blanket like a tortilla. that is so not fair, and he should be so over the Elmira stage, he is 20.

Psst.. is Charlie telling lies about me again. This is Sissy, the only reason I snap at her sometimes is because she is always biting at my legs. Doesn’t she know that it hurts, do I nip her on the ear or hind end. So far she has not learned.

Sissy get off my computer!! No!  GRRRR.. Finally I ran Sissy off. She is always getting in my space and stealing my stuff. Well I think I will take a nap on my bed, or I might just call it a night. Today has been a long day. Especially playing tug with Sissy and staying away from her mood swings. Until next time Charlie out. 🙂
