Kat Redding is called LADY DEATH. She is good at what she does, she hunts the very thing she is, VAMPIRES. She thirsts for blood and is capable of killing any creature unlucky enough to get in her way. Now there is a threat out there and Lady Death can’t allow that to happen. A vampire Count wants to merge his house with that of one of the local werewolf cults to create a force of great power. Kate can not let this happen.
Even if this means taking on the vampires and a cult werewolves more ruthless than she has ever seen before. She might have the allies the weapons and the skills, but can she do it in time before her own dark nature rises to the surface and cost her the rest of what ever is left of her humanity.
This is a very good start to a good series. Kat is fighting against losing herself totally to becoming a vampire. She is trying to hang on to what little humanity she has left. She only feeds when she absolutely has to, and then she feeds on the dregs of society.
I give this a 5/ 5 stars. I recommend tis book to anyone, and the others in the series.
