I see my best friend lying so still.

I am just waiting for her to wake

and hold me in her arms.

Now I see her lift her head,

Like a newborn lifting it’s head for the first time.

Learning how to do things all over again.

I want to see how she was just a few weeks ago,

Smiling that smile we love so much.

To be wrapped in her arms,

And know that everything is going to be alright.

I want my best friend back.

Before everything was taken away.

I want a miracle,but most of all,

Love Ethel’s Family
