  3. I am currently writing a children’s book with my sister. We hope to have it finished by the end of the year and start the next in the series. All the characters are nicknames of family members. Mostly my nieces and nephews.

  5. I have always wanted to be a writer since I was a young girl. I was always writing and reading.

  1. I love watching cartoons with my Mom. We both would rather watch a good animation(cartoons) than anything else. Some of today’s animation to me is not what to me is good animation. It looks as if no thought or effort was put into them. Give me the older cartoons(animation) any day.

PURE BLOODED is another hit for Amanda Carlson. It is Action packed, nail-biting fun. The characters and story line are well-developed.  Jessica has just returned from Hell and the Hags of Fate are wanting her dead for killing Ardat Lili who was to birth a child that would be one of the Hags of Fate. She must stay alive to redirect her fated path to get her fate back on track. A balance. Staying alive will not be easy, when someone wants you dead. She does have an ally in one of the Hags that wants her to stay alive. This is such a great book and series that it will have you wanting more. I cannot wait until the next book. This book will have you on the edge of your seat. When you think they are in the clear, Fate throws another wrench into the plan. I recommend this book and series to everyone. I give PURE BLOODED 5/ 5 STARS.

SHAPESHIFTING ZOMBIE

Now that I have your attention, I thought you might like this. I am currently taking a Paranormal Romance writing class, and one of the first lessons was to write an introduction  from a list paranormal elements that you believe in (or find remotely plausible) and the ones that you find just completely ridiculous. We were to take one from the ridiculous list and write an introduction. Here is my introduction:

Not everyone can do what I can do in the zombie world. One you are either a zombie, human, or a supernatural creature. Me, I am a shapeshifting zombie. Yes, you heard right. I was infected with the zombie virus when I was out on a run. Now I have a craving for brains and to howl at the moon. I have to be very careful when I shift into my wolf form. Zombies are know to lose a piece of themselves every now and then. It would be very embarrassing to change and have a foot, arm or other parts missing.

My name is Jade Everheart. My pack knows about this and is trying to deal with it, but not having it happen before is difficult to understand. It is hard to have a relationship, because I am afraid I might want to eat his brains at night. So, I don’t ever have anyone stay overnight. I am a biochemist at my day job, and am trying to find a cure for the zombie virus. It is now a year later and I have had no luck in finding a cure. I have tried to locate the mad scientist who infected me, but he died last month. it seems one of his creature killed him.

I am thinking that I could make a story out of this. It already sounds pretty good. Let me know what you think.

BOOK REVIEW- CROSSING THE LINE BY ALLY BISHOP

CROSSING THE LINEBOOK DESCRIPTION

  • Print Length: 173 pages

I’ve never believed in love at first sight, which is probably why I write mysteries, and not romances, for a living. Besides, I’m too focused on expanding Elementary, a mystery dinner party business I own with my brother Noah. I don’t have time for romance.

When the handsome and successful Ian Crane books our services, I can barely keep my wits about me. He’s setting fire to all my rules, and I can’t resist his flames.

I don’t recognize the woman I’m becoming, but I don’t want to go back to who I was. There’s a part of me that can’t help wondering, what if he’s too good to be true? Because if he is, my heart will be nothing more than ashes.

Heat rating: Toasty warm, with plenty of flames.
