I CAN’T THINK OF ANYTHING TO WRITE ABOUT.

http://24.media.tumblr.com/b5f920dfd2d4261f253d01441a60c3a0/tumblr_mstt6wIZv71rl48exo1_500.gif
Today I have been sitting here staring at a blank screen giving myself a headache trying to think of something to write. This has really been going on for about a week now. I sit at the computer trying to think up something to write about, but nothing comes to mind. I know I need to write something besides book reviews all the time, but since I started back to work it is like the creativity has been stifled, or choked off.

Nothing seems to flow as easily from my brain to the paper anymore. I cannot even write on the children’s book HOW TO CATCH A HUMAN. That one is usually easy to write. Now I can’t even grasp onto one little pea size thought on that book. I also have been so tired that at night when I go to bed and read I fall asleep within the first fifteen minutes. I normally read maybe two hours or more. I catch my kindle falling on my face and it wakes me up, or my sister or nephew will come into the room  to get to the bathroom and ask me if I want them to turn out the light for me since I have dozed off.

Wish I could figure out what is causing this writers block, so I could resolve the issue. Until then I will continue to try to work around it and find things to write about. I am thinking about pulling out one of my novels that I am working on and start posting it here to see what you think about it. That way I can get your feed back on what I should keep and get rid of. It will help me out a lot. I will continue to try to write content at work so I can post it when I get home. It is almost time for bed, so I will talk with you tomorrow.

MY SISTER IS A BIG GUILD WARS 2 GAMER.

My Sister loves playing Guild Wars 2, and she plays the game with her kids. They constantly talk about the game. They talk about the different characters that they have, and the builds. This is all Greek to me. I know a little of what they are talking about from past games that I have played. I have to admit that it is fun watching them play World vs. World. This is basically different guilds fighting against each other. My niece will get very vocal if she is not listening to her music while she is playing, otherwise she is very calm and sings while playing.  My sister sent me this video of her playing, and the whole time she does not even die once. Hope you enjoy the video.

THE DRAGON WHO LOVED ME BY G.A. AIKEN BOOK REVIEW

THE DRAGON WHO LOVED MEbuyamzon-button-plain

Book Description

         Publication Date:         September 6, 2011
I was raised for battle. And as the first daughter of a warrior family, I’ve earned my reputation the hard way. Yet now I fight alongside uncivilized male Northland dragons who think a female is only good for breeding and waiting back home in the cave. But it’s the foolish and foolhardy who would try to stop me, Rhona the Fearless, from doing what I do best—destroying the enemies of my kind.So the smartest thing wily barbarian Vigholf the Abhorrent can do for me is stay out of my way as we risk all on a deadly mission in enemy territory. I don’t care if he’s fascinated by me, even though he is as attractive as he is resourceful. He’s having far too much fun putting me in difficult situations and testing my sense of duty to the limit. And I’m going to enjoy challenging his insufferable confidence, outwitting his schemes, and making him surrender in the wildest ways. .

This is a great addition to the Dragon Kin series, with its sarcastic, dark humor will have you laughing out loud . The character development and story line are well-developed. Rhona and Vigholf are great together. Vigholf wants Rhona and has warned the other dragons away from her, but he has not made his feelings known to her yet. Rhona has helped raise her siblings when her mother would go off to battle, all she wants to do is follow in her father’s footsteps and be a blacksmith. Her mother wants her to be a commanding officer like her. this is one of those books that makes you laugh out loud, it has the perfect mixture of humor, sex, suspense and action. It will pull you in and not let you go until you have read the last page.  The banter between Vigholf and Rhona is great. I loved reading THE DRAGON WHO LOVED ME, so I give it 5/ 5 stars. I recommend it to everyone to read it and the other Dragon Kin novels.

Check out A CIRCLE OF MURDERS BY DREAMAH H. LOCKWOOD.http://dreamahlockwood.wordpress.com/2014/01/14/a-circle-of-murders-prologue/ I recently went to her site since she frequents mine, to see what she had going on. She had started to post chapters of her novel A CIRCLE OF MURDERS.  As I started to read these chapters, I knew that I had to go to Amazon and buy the book. It hooked me right off the bat, now I just have to work it in with the other books that I am reading. When I do read the book I will post the review.

CIRCLE OF DEATH BY KERI ARTHUR

Book DescriptionCIRCLE OF DEATH

         Publication Date:         February 25, 2014
PASSION REBORN   In one vicious night, Kirby Brown’s world is torn apart. Her best friend is dead, killed by a madman who is now after Kirby, and she has no idea why. When the police prove incapable of protecting Kirby, she has no choice but to trust a mysterious stranger. And while she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him, she fears the strange abilities he wields.   An investigator for the Damask Circle, Doyle Fitzgerald, has come to Melbourne, Australia, to hunt down a killer. What he doesn’t expect to find is a cadre of witches capable of controlling the elements, a sorceress determined to take that power for herself, and a broken woman who is more than she seems. Doyle is certain that the reason behind the bloodshed lies in Kirby’s past—a past she has no wish to remember. Because Doyle isn’t the only one with magic in his soul: Kirby’s special gifts have the strength to destroy the world.

I RECEIVED THIS BOOK FROM NETGALLEY FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.

I really loved this second book in this series. To me it was better than the first one, in which it had more action and suspense to the storyline that the first book did. The characters were very well-developed and likeable. Circle of Death was a fast paced book that draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the last page is read. Keri Arthur is one writer I will definitely recommend to everyone who has not read her. Kirby and Doyle are two characters that you are rooting for to catch killer. I loved the twist between Helen and Kirby, I had a feeling that they were sisters but I was not quite sure. I also love the character of Camille she helped to bring a little humor to the situation. It was an all around awesome book, and I give it 5/5 stars.
