BOOK DESCRIPTION COURTESY OF AMAZON

SERAPHIM starts right after the events of the last book DOMINION and Zoe is accused of killing Manuel and eating his heart.  She has to find a wand, the slat na rÍghe, a dowsing rod. This is to help her locate the lost pages of the Grimoire’s for the Seraphim. She is also is being accused of killing Joe Halloran, because he has been missing for a few weeks. Her Uncle Domas is behind Joe Halloran disappearing.  SERAPHIM has non-stop action that will have you on the edge of your seat. It also had one unexpected doozy of an ending. I love the ZOË MARTINIQUE  series, that I cannot wait until the next installment. I give SERAPHIM 4/5 stars. I would have given it 5 stars, but it did have some proofreading errors that were missed. This made the flow of the story a little bumpy, but all-in-all a great story.

BOOK DESCRIPTION COURTESY OF AMAZON

This is a great story line with a witty, chaotic, and humorous group of characters. When Nick is captured on film when he changes into his wolf, Mother Nature steps in and takes care of the camera problem. Once Nick sees Brandee he knows that she is his mate. Now he just has to convince her. Her world is turned upside down when she meets Nick. There was a lot of humor in this book and I really liked this book. I give this book a 4/ 5 stars.

I loved the story line of Doe and the Wolf. The character development was great,  and it was nice to see Miranda and Chase again. Everett and Dawn are great characters, the many three little pigs references were really funny. This book had me busting out laughing at some inappropriate times.  My family would look at me and just shake their head at me. Just make sure that you are not eating or drink anything while you are reading this so you don’t spray on your kindle or book from laughing.

Poor Dawn is scared that if anyone sees her doe that she would be a laughing-stock. Plus she is not a homicidal maniac like the other experiments. Yeah she might like one particular big , bad wolf now , but her only worry is hopefully his family won’t serve her up for thanksgiving dinner. I really loved this book, and I give it 5/ 5 stars.

Business-minded Tristan bought Whisper’s Edge from his estranged grandfather to prove his worth to the curmudgeon and to turn a quick profit. He never expected to fall for the charms of a village of crafty retirees—or to fall hard for a small town girl like Savannah. I liked this book, it was a cute and funny romance. I loved all the seniors in the retirement community, they helped in moving the story along. Tristan and Savannah were great together. They both had their insecurities that they had to overcome to finally be able to totally commit to each other. When Savannah finds out that Tristan does not want to keep the community a senior community, but turn it into more housing units all along the beach front property.  She tries to change his mind, and to come up with other ways to keep it a senior community so the citizens won’t have to lose their homes. I give this book 4/5 stars.

CHEYENNE McCRAY “VAMPIRES DEAD AHEAD” REVIEW

vampires dead ahead

Book Description

         Publication Date:         November 29, 2011

With zero tolerance for bloodsuckers, Nyx and the Trackers have made the streets safer for warm-blooded New Yorkers. Unfortunately, they didn’t drive a stake through the problem nationwide. Vampire attacks are on the rise. Proctors are dropping like flies. And Volod—New York’s ousted Master Vampire—is trying to make a comeback…

Nyx is worried—about her city, her job, and her neck. But mostly she’s concerned about her former lover, Rodán, a Proctor who’s gone missing. Scarier still, Volod is capturing and “turning” paranorms to help him paint the town red. Which sucks. Because some of these new vampires are Nyx’s old friends. But hey—if she can stake them here, she’ll stake them anywhere

BOOK DESCRIPTION COURTESY OF AMAZON

This is a fast paced, page turner. The characters and the story line is great. Volod makes a great villain. When someone very close to Nyx is taken, things quickly escalate to code red. Colin is one hot dragon, and I want one for Christmas, please Santa? I hope she will continue this series. I would recommend this to anyone. I give this a 5/ 5 stars.
