Jaye Wells delivers another great book in the Prospero War saga, with exceptional world building and character development. She always delivers. Now when we left Kate in th last book, DIRTY MAGIC ,Kate had just helped taking the drug Wild Wolf off the street. She was also a key factor in saving her brother by cooking and using dirty magic. Now it is a while later and it is almost Halloween and the Blue Moon is upsetting everyone’s magic. When someone steals potions from the MYSTICAL COVEN OF THE SACRED ORGASM, SHE has to find them before Aphrodite the head of the O coven does. Secrets will be revealed, friendships are strained, but everything is put to rights by the CURSED MOON. I give this book 5/5 stars, and recommend this series to everyone.

BOOK REVIEW FOR “BLOODRING” BY FAITH HUNTER

Product Details

In a novel filled with lush imagery and exhilarating action, Faith Hunter creates a near-future world caught in the throes of an ambiguous apocalypse – where a woman with everything to hide finds her true destiny revealed. As humanity struggles with religious strife and seraphs and demons fight a never-ending battle, a new species has arisen. “Neomages” are human in appearance, but able to twist left-over creation energy to their will. A threat to both humans and seraphs, they are confined in luxurious Enclaves.Thorn St. Croix is no ordinary neomage. Nearly driven insane by her powers, she is smuggled out of an Enclave and now lives among humans, channeling her gift of stone-magery into jewelry making. But when Thaddeus Bartholomew, a dangerously attractive policeman, tells her that her ex-husband has been kidnapped, Thorn risks revealing her identity to find him. And for Thorn, the punishment for revelation is death.

BOOK DESCRIPTION COURTOSY OF AMAZON

This was the first series that I read of Faith Hunter and it is great. Her world building, and characters are just awesome. The character of Thorn was very well thought out. I enjoyed the story, because I have not at this time read anything like it. I recommend that you read this series. Due to her special abilities and unknown events,  Thorn had to leave her enclave and live in secret. If anyone found out that she was a rogue mage living amongst humans she would be killed, but when humans and mages are threatened. They have to fight together to rid the land of the threat or be totally erased from earth.

I loved the imagery in the book and the action. I gave it a 5/ 5 stars. here are the other books in the series.
