PARANORMAL ROMANCE BOOK REVIEW- FIGURE OF SPEECH BY DANA MARIE BELL

Book Description
Publication Date: March 3, 2015

When two hearts speak as one, no words are needed.

Halle Shifters, Book 4

Chloe Williams has waited four long years for her mate to acknowledge her. Time and again he has turned her away for being too young, even when she was hospitalized, recovering from a beating that left lingering aftereffects. Now that he’s been turned into a Wolf, his mating instincts are kicking in big time. Chloe has to decide if it’s worth risking her heart yet again.

Ten years older than Chloe and dealing with issues she knows nothing about, veterinarian James Woods is about ready to howl in frustration. He’s been drawn to Chloe since she was a radiant nineteen-year-old college student, but the age difference held him back from making a move on her. Now his Wolf wants what’s his, and Jim is finally in a place where he can claim her.

Between meddling mothers, Hunter brothers, and a mystery that threatens to end Chloe’s life, they might find an opportunity to tell each other just how they feel. Or find themselves separated by more than just misunderstood words.

Warning: This book contains explicit sex, graphic language, and two people who finally get their damn act together.

Finally in FIGURE OF SPEECH we get Chloe and Jim’s story. This book had me laughing non-stop. The characters and story line are very well-developed. Chloe was brutally attacked and now has trouble with her speech. When she says one word another word comes out. We all get to see all the characters from past books and laugh at them again. Chloe is slowly making progress and wants Jim to claim her as her mate, but when she is threatened again, Jim claims her to keep her safe. He also wants her with his whole being.  Jim also has his brother that he never knew he had living with him. For a good pick me up this is the book for you. I give FIGURE OF SPEECH 5/5 STARS. I also recommend this book and series to everyone.

Book Description
Publication Date: September 16, 2014
A crescendo of evil could destroy their perfect harmony.

The Gray Court, Book 5

Oberon is well and truly lost, with no memory of who he is, where he came from, or where he’s going. One woman makes his palms sweat and his heart race, a woman with turquoise eyes and a beautiful voice. Instinct tells him she’s the only one who can save him.

Cassie knows the truth—he is the High King, her truebond, the one man born to be hers and hers alone. Restoring his memory and keeping him out of the Black Court’s clutches is her mission, though success means losing him. Yet to give the world back its High King, she will make that sacrifice.

As soon as Oberon’s memory comes crashing back through his mind’s closed door, he makes one vow. Though beset by enemies, chased and attacked, he will return to his rightful place with his Queen by his side.

Except when he makes good on his vow, all hell breaks loose. And when Cassie’s life is threatened, the fae world will bow before the High King or pay the price in blood.

Warning: This title contains explicit sex, graphic language, fishy shenanigans and royal naughtiness.

I WAS GIVEN A COPY OF THIS BOOK BY NETGALLEY FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.

SIREN’S SONG is a fast paced read, with well-crafted characters and a well-developed storyline. Dana Marie Bell knows how to tell a story.  The High King Oberon of the Gray court has been poisoned and only Cassie can save him with her song. She must find him first, for he has disappeared from the kingdom. Cassie is Princess of the Atlantean court, which is part of the White court. Cassie is also Oberon’s truebond mate. She is currently running from an arranged marriage that her parents had arranged when she was younger. Once Oberon and Cassie become truebond mates, the arranged marriage becomes null and void. This is such a hot and sexy book that it will have you running for a cold shower. SIREN’S SONG has such likeable characters that helps to move the story along.  Dana Marie Bell’s novels are great and I cannot wait until the next one. I give this book 5/5 stars. If you have not read her books, I urge you to run out and get one.

BOOK REVIEW FOR “MR. RED RIDING HOODE” BY DIANA MARIE BELL

MR.RED RIDING HOODE

Book Description

         Publication Date:         November 12, 2013

The better to make you mine, my dear…

Poconos Pack, Book 2

When it came down to saving his best friend Ben’s relationship, Steven Hoode didn’t hesitate to trade his Florida timeshare for a month at Red Wolf Lodge. Cold weather isn’t his favorite thing, but hot snow bunnies are, so he plans to make the most of his vacation.

Good karma kicks in when he sees a pretty brunette chatting with the lodge owner. All thoughts of nuptials and nookie take a back seat to the heat that flares between them.

When Graciela “Chela” Mendoza catches sight of the gorgeous man shivering in a red-hooded parka, she realizes why he makes her heart beat faster. He’s her mate. The problem? Steven has no idea his friends are Wolves.

Chela plans to break it to him gently, but when he accidentally witnesses the whole Pack shifting, things get a bit…hairy. He bolts, locking himself in his cabin and refusing to listen, even to Ben.

Unless she can get him to see that Wolves are people, too, Chela will lose her mate faster than she can say woof.

Warning: This book contains explicit sex, graphic language, a man packing some nice goodies and a she-Wolf all ready to gobble them up.

This was fast, quick read, with a lot of humor thrown in. Dana Marie Bell does it again. I loved the story line and the character development in this story. Chela and Steven are great together. Chela actually needed someone who would cherish and take care of her after everything that had happened to her. When Steven locked himself in the cabin and would not come out, and Chela used pictures and quotes from Droopy Dog and others to get him to let her in. This was very funny. When Steven first turns furry is also a funny moment. I love Dana Marie Bell’s books, they always make me laugh. This week I definitely needed a good laugh with my Grandmother having a stroke and being in the hospital. I give this book 5/ 5 stars, for chasing away the blues.

I recommend Dana Marie Bell’s books to anyone who needs a good laugh.
