Have you ever had one of those days where you are all set to sit down and write, with your computer, paper or pencil in front of you. You sit down, and nothing. Not a d@$% thing goes from your brain to the page. The more you stare the more of nothing you get. That has what the last couple of days has been like for me. I don’t know if it is because that my knee is paining me more or the pain medication is making me a little more loopy. I just can’t seem to get my brain to function right now.
I guess not working 47+ days and being on a leave of absence trying to get my knee fixed is stressing me out. Must be a little bit of cabin fever. I wanted to try to finish the book my sister and me are working on, and to work on the urban fantasy novel that I was working on before I hurt my knee. I guess I am just having one of those days, and the more I try to use my brain the more it hurts. I will probably just do a little research and maybe it will jar something loose in my brain that will get me to writing on both of these stories. I would really like to get both of them done.
Now if I can just pry my sister of her Guild Wars 2 video game, maybe she can give me some input on the story we are working on. If you have any suggestions of what you do to get over writer’s block, let me know. I would really appreciate the feed back. It is very frustrating some days when you have some idea of what you want to say, but you just can not put it to paper. So on that note , it is getting late and need to take some more medicine for my headache and go to bed. I will talk with you tomorrow.
