BOOK REVIEW “BLOOD WINTER” BY DIANA PHARAOH FRANCIS

Product DetailsThis is book 4 in the HORNGATE WITCHES NOVELS.  Max is a Shadowblade, a warrior with extraordinary speed, endurance, and strength.  Ever since she was turned into a supernatural warrior by the witches, Max has always done her job. She protected the coven of Horngate no matter how battered and bloody her body would get. Max always did her job. Things are about to get a lot harder.

The times of fairy tales and the tales and the dangers that are entailed with them are returning with the waves of wild magic that is washing over the world. Food, heat, and water are getting, scarce as winter sets in. Sterling, who is claiming to be the Hand of God, and the leader of the Earth’s Last Stand Cult. His power is not from GOD, but from sinister and dark source. Max will have to battle him , knowing she is walking into a trap to save the ones she loves.

This series is full of nail-biting action. The characters are well written, and Max is a kick butt character. I can’t wait until the next in this series. I give this a 5/5 stars. Here is a list of all the books in the series.
